This is exactly what happened to my fridge, see if the water tank inside your fridge is frozen, if it is, thats because the fan is freezing up and not circulating round , read my posting.

Engineer called today and knew straight away after presssing a couple of buttons it was the fan, changed it to a fan with a shield on to stop ice forming on fan and also changed the sensors on the evaporator.PLEASE NOTE THAT SAMSUNG GIVE YOU A 2YR WARRENTY WITH THESE FRIDGE FREEZERS, IF YOU GO ON THERE WEBSITE YOU WILL SEE ALL THE INFO

Engineer arrived today fridge was making terrible noise for a few days and then stopped working although it still was cold at bottom. Changed the fan to one with a shield on to stop ice forming on fan again and also changed the sensors on the evaporator, well this is what he told me. When I asked him if this was a common problem with these fridge freezers got no reply.

Have had similar problems with my samsung fridge freezer, but just thought I would let you know you get a 2yr warrenty with these from samsung, and feel after looking at this website and the number of people who are having the same problems we should all complain to samsung.
