    Re: Bosch KIM30443GG/02 Fridge Freezer

Hi Dave. No there was no paperwork with the electronic module. On the module there is a small plug with 3 brown and a blue wire going into the insulation of the fridge. if I plug this connector out the led indicators on the display goes out. I have just retrieved a recorder left in the freezer unit and the temperature drops dowm to -23 deg every 24 houres exactly. It takes 3 houres to go from +5 to -23 in the freezer. I feel there is a simple answer to this problem but it may be as you say beyond repair.

    Hi Dave.
Thanks for your help. Its seems a funny problem with the fridge freezer as the electronic control panel that has been replaced is flashing on the 4 deg setting indicating that the temperature is above 4 deg but it is not turning on the compressor. I put a recorder into the fridge and the other strange thing happening is that it starts up every 24 houres exactly (10.45am) and cools down to 4 deg’s and the light above the 4 deg led set stays on solid indicating the temperature has been reached. I was hoping some engineer would have come across this problem and could share his knowledge. I have tried contacting Bosch customes services and they have been as usefull as an ashtray on a motor bike.
    Martin.

Thanks Brian but someone suggested it was 1000 ohm. Nervous to try if not correct.

problem seems to be a sock stuck in float chamber at outlet of drum. Note when removing connections from main pcb board on this machine they can be refitted back just about anywhere.

If something simple could be done to solve the problem it could save a housewife booking a prepaid service call out to be told the item is not worth repairing.

The fault seems to be caused by the brushes been worn out in main motor in this case

Hi All, Checked out candy cm1 126 and found one of the two water inlet solenoids faulty. It would appear this model takes in water on first solenoid for about 5 sec and then changes to the second solenoid to complete the fill. All working ok now and thanks to all who helped.
