I have had 2 jobs rejected in the past month because I didn’t order spares against that job. I had used spares that I had from previous jobs that were cancelled.
All you have to do mate is speak to accounts who will move the old job part to the new job. Also if you have issues with invoice’s and spares parts phone dont email this always seem to work faster.

ParticipantLee the fact that you can get this information shows that there is nothing being hidden what I question is that you hide behind your user name and criticise at every opertuninty, This forum isnt about 0800 but is for the agents talking about there issues with JTM if you dont do any work for them then why are you so concerned.
Its seem to me that you have a hidden agenda.
All of the guys on here seem to be trying to share there experiances with jtm as they are agents. I not sure that they want your 2p worth as your no longer an agent.
Every time i answer and explain how i used to deal with spares there you again popping up with your 2p worth.
As I have said before you have not been asked to join. So whats the problem. Let people make there own minds up about JTM and 0800 and other agents offer there advise based on experiances now and not yours in the past.
I dont know your history and quite frankly dont care to know. What i’m trying to do his pass on how I get the issues sorted out.
You like giving free advise well here is some for you. Worry about your own business and stop moaning about others.
If you are so great at what you do and are not worried about 0800 then why do you keep mouthing off. Seems to me that you feel threatend by it all. If thats the case then maybe you should look a little closer to home. And use the energy and time spent on here in your own bussiness.

You cannot slag of 0800 its against there rules, as is not wearing the baseball cap and silly looking van or having your own approach with your business.
I personnally own my business, I would never ever sell it out to an outfit such as 0800.
You see you have no business, your really an 0800 representative and you’ve paid them the privilage. 😆
No I prefer not too. 😉
never had to wear the hat. mate again its ADVERTISING you know getting the brand in the photo. Hello

lee were you this sceptical when they invented the mobile phone and the internet.
do you still wear a workshop coat like the Calgon man???
Watch out guys dont even think of bringing things up to date Lee wont like it.Personally I think the whole country as been waiting for something like this for a long time. (well thats what they are saying).Who wants to pay hotpoints, bosch etc call out fees. Customer are sick of it and they should be. Call out fees are yesterday even when i was an independent customers would put the phone down if “callout” wash mentioned. We have just moved with the times and given customers the option. I’m not big headed enough to think I deserve a call out fee.

ParticipantLee firstly I dont need to slag off 0800 I have two areas both filled up with calls and my own employed engineer do the maths mate. Were is your website and van or do you hind behind your username??
Iv’e been in bussiness for 8 years but choose this as a better option I l used to spend 10000 a year on advertising so why are you so botherd how I spend my money. Why are you so bitter you seem to be quite a angry person. I didnt think that sucessfull business men were that angry also no one has asked you to join mate have they so what the problem.
No paper work or customers ringing me direct I love it. and by the looks of it the customers love it too. Got to go Ive got anothe busy day tomorrow.
The van as had such possitive feedback as so the website and our work. I love all this the fact your still talking about this just shows that our name is getting out there. Nothing like free advertising. Also some of the comments on here are possitive unless its from you so carry on mate. I have every faith in this and the owners Ive seen first hand the development. Its easy to make assumptions when you dont know the facts.

Participantlee I thought you were busy enough without having to worry about JTM
I didnt realise these forums were about doom and gloom. As expertcat said, I used to do the same keep on top of returns and check all paid invoice as soon as they come. I paid the wife to do this and any payment issues usually sorted in 7 or so day.
Didnt have major issues with them but then compared to Servis,GBDAR and Indesit anything is better. Also as i said before lots have changed at JTM especially in the last 3 years.
I think also most work providers are a bit crap but is it them or is it there clients ???? That is the question.
I’ve worked for most and letting agents etc and when they are relying on someone else paying there always seems to be a problem. But Love them or Loath them. We would all love to do cash calls all day. Then none of us would have time to sit here and login.
And lee before you say it I’m just a humble engineer like you check out my website http://www.appliancerepairsilford.co.uk. not managment or franchise sales.

Participantive done the indesit franchise and when it was just them it was really good then hotpoint got involved and messed it all up. Im know someone there and he get 35 quid a job then he took on another engineer and for him he only get 19.50. Any how its not even a real franchise anyone came come into your area and fit parts when youve already been there and i never had a contract. It a joke

As for the van well all i can say is dyno-rod looked stupid when they first came out in the 80’s. Look to the future not only at the present.what sort of money you get paid ❓
It would be unfair for me to comment all i will say is that i’m happy with what i get, But then how much money is enough I always think I’m worth more the same as everyone elsei think.

Not a great example for the franchise holders, great product though, just nobody cared and they overcharged.
So get ready for the British Gas experience. 😉 😆
If you get your facts right dyno rod sold for 84million to british gas and since then its gone down hill also 1 dyro rod franchise own 10 vans just does the city of london and is a millionare.
This is new and I used to be a jtm engineer and left some years ago because theywere crap but came back and things were so much better now I have took the franchise and believe me it couldnt be better. I would genuinly reconmend it to anyone. But because its new people are scepticle all i can say is i’m very busy and I know other engineers are too, I was also a franchise eng for indesit before hotpoint f££ked it up and believe me we dont get £20 a call here.
