ParticipantRe: Another Day, Another Issue
Let me offer an opinion on this mob.
Paul feek: And egotistical, arrogant, two faced bullshitter and charlatan that is involved in everything. Yet when the crap hits the fan he hides behind his mobile and blames “his team”. A true coward of epic proportions. Been in meeting with this scum bag and he thinks nothing of “turning off an agent” to flex his muscles.
Paul Greenberg. Paul Feeks lap dog, goffer, yes man. Not a hint of a back bone and just wants an easy life.
Scott Pallister: Nice bloke but has his fingers in too many pies so takes his eye off the bread and butter and only gets involved when damage has been done.
Accounts team. Full of kids that haven’t got a book keeping or accountancy qualification between them. Haven’t got a clue how the real world works.Who remembers the jtm agent who stuck his fingers up and was caught on camera. Guess what?? he was never sacked!
I’ll say it again. Do not do work for this mob ever!!!! They will shaft you on the same way they shaft everyone.

Message to NHS. Go ram your faces into a angle grinder.
Any indies out there wanting advice how to take this vultures on and beat them at OUR game feel free to PM me.
I do not take any warranty work anymore and I book 8-10 cash jobs per day. I work from home and have a simple website.
Don’t let these scum bags steal your work.

Jamie ade vulture what ever you name is. I don’t pay £20 per call via goggle. Please don’t try and get me on board with your rhetoric. You sound like a poor excuses for Paul sunbed Feek.
Thanks for the education on google. For your information I don’t use google add word express and neither do I turn the marketing off on Sunday. It automatically turns off during certain times.
As for not being no1 all the time. Well sorry I must be doing something better. I’m always no 1 yes that correct always.
Don’t be such an arrogant arse hole and think you know best.
Also please stop talking your crap on my topic. I couldn’t care a less if you are doing 3 jobs a day and taking £500 per.

Look again in the morning and it will be no 1.
Not Sundays though I turn it off. And also when we are fully booked. No point paying if we can’t book them in.

Oh and if you do have 20k and want to compete your have about 16k change out of that.
Just caught up on the nation appliance care stuff. And ade/Jamie your not fooling anyone. What a load of dross.
£20 for a confirmed job is day light robbery. And an insult.
Not worried though you and NHS will never compete with me. I destroy you in every area

The number one rule on booking a cash call is answer the phone. No matter how big the internet gets people will always want to speak to a person rather than leaving a email inquiry. In my experience if you fail to answer the phone by the time you listen to a vm and ring back they have already rang the next man on the list. This is why I pay the money I do for google and that why I’m always busy and allways top on google.
I agree with ken franchises have come and failed, I joined the franchise I was in due to family issues where basically my son was born with cerebral palsy and my wife couldn’t carry on with the admin. I was then told by Paul the butt licker Greenberg that if I didn’t buy in then my area would be sold from under my feet. This was later confirmed by Paul spends too long on a sunbed Feek. Now any other time I would have told them to Feck off. With the fear of losing my work and I bought into the idea.
In my opinion they are all charlatans, they feed on our skills and experience to feed their on faces, when it goes wrong they blame each other.
If someone has 20k then don’t be a fool, build a website, think of a quirky name and how you are going to market yourself. Do not give it to suckers like them.
And if someone like Paul where’s my name badge Feek knocks on your door then tell the scum bag to feck off.
I re-set up my business after leaving 0800 despair in 3 weeks. It took that time to get a website, rebrand and get google on board. On the first night if going live I had 15 clicks and no calls. For 9am to 11am the next morning we had booked 8 calls.
From the first week we have booked 8-10 calls per day everyday.
You don’t need idiots like these. But to succeed they need you!!!!
Google is the way forward. Google is set up for small businesses like ours. These idiots can’t match us without spending millions of pounds.
Even 0800despiar can’t knock me off the top spot.

I don’t think so Martin. Those other lot that I refuse to give air time to struggled to sell the franchise despite heavy investment. Engineers won’t spend the money they want and newbies can’t handle all the different makes. That why they will fail, slow take up get bored and move on. The only way to sell a franchise is to go the franchise shows. That other lot did that and failed. So I can’t see what this new lot think there can do different. Same product different box.

How long have you been in the trade ???
Take it from me the majority with 0800 /Jtm hate working for them and are sick to the back teeth of being messed around. Some like myself will speak up show them for what they are and some will quietly work along on the back ground saying nothing publicly in fear of retribution. People have spoken out before and then suddenly find them self with no calls.
12 franchises down to 3 says it all really.
But honestly feel free to go and work for them in what ever capacity you choose. I can even give you the numbers of the people to speak to. But believe me when I say 3 months and your be on here agreeing with everything I said.
And this is a trade forum for the domestic appliance trade not for just trades people.
30 odd pound per job sounds good. 10 jobs a day £300 per day. In theory!!!!
2 jobs not in (no pay) , 1 recall for a blocked pump that they won’t pay you again for and you can’t charge the customer, 2 with wrong parts (no pay) 1 job there forget to pay so that another 30 days to wait, another job with an wrong address and phone number again no pay. Try that for 20 days per month and suddenly £30 per job doesn’t sound so great.
People still work for them because some have no other option. Some are scared of change and some accept being walked on us the norm.
After comet went bust 100s of engineers where out of work add to that most manufactures don’t employ anymore and those who do don’t have trainees anymore so the options are suddenly non existent so being walked on instead of signing on looks more attractive.
If engineers stopped working for them things would get tough but within a month suddenly the manufactures would start dialogue with the independents. As an independent that has been walked on for two long. I want to see the work where it belongs and that’s in our hands.mikeday1
