Thanks Clive, i am waiting on a reply from the whitegoods parts suplier to confirm which drain pump it is i need.
If its not too expensive i will give it a whirl then contact an engineer.Your help is much appreciated.
One more question, HTH? abbreviation for what? quite new to this stuff
Thanks again

Thanks Clive, done that now and it seems the only potential blockage was the plastic bus pass remnants from earlier as the other pipes are clear.
Does the drain pump kick in automatically when the machine tells it too? If this is the problem how can i check.
Cheers

I select the drain only setting and the agitator clicks on to the next cycle.
Any suggestions?

Hi there,
I did find the remainder of the plastic bus card in the top of the hose where the ball is.
Cycle has gone through again and still not draining entirely so no spin either.
Dial on the front seems to want to click past the spin/drain function!!!!
Frustrated now….

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool AWM 325 not spinning or draining
Hi Clive and thanks for the quick response.
I have drained it from the front about an hour ago and part of my daughters missing school bus pass has popped out as well. It is a credit card type of material so i am wondering if the rest of it is jammed in there somewhere.
Off to investigate the filter in more detail,
Thanks mate.

Thanks Guys, it does seem as though the water is struggling to get in to be honest. I will have a look and probably make the call anyway.
Thanks again,

Hi again,
Does anyone have any idea of what the problem could be?
This washing by hand is doing nothing for my skin, even with Fairy!! 😆Thanks
