Re: Miele W1512 not performing complete cycles

Don’t I know it, that’s why I am here! I can do things, I just can’t figure out how to get at the parts as the panels don’t seem to come off as easy as some…

    Re: hotpoint Mistral ff92s

Mine is doing the same. I defrosted the back of the freezer completely 1 weeks ago with a hairdryer. It worked great for 1 week and today, same problem, loads of ice all over the freezer fins and fridge warming up. It does not stay like that though, once the defrost kicks in it defrosts enough ice to circulate the air again.

I did have an E8 code come up on Sunday?? I think it’s a case of replacing the freezer thermister as already suggested in this post. But where does the other one go, the consenser one?
I can do the freezer one eay enough, but the condenser one is that just as easy?

Or do i pay the £35 call out fee for the fridge man.

Don’t mean to hijack this post but I think we have similar issues.

Re: Hotpoint WMA35 did I mess it up?

Thanks for all your expert information and advice. It looks as though it’s best to move the thing on. Please will someone tell me I did a challenging job in replacing the bearing, even though I blew the rest of the circuits up

Re: Hotpoint WMA35 did I mess it up?

Shame to throw it away after all that work. But it’s too old to go investing in a new curcuit board. I mean the shaft looked a little beat up when I took it appart. Also there were 3 bolts missing on the three pronged thing at the back of the drum. Quality build for you!!!

So there must be someone out there with a broken WMA 35 or similar, or a second hand curcuit board… or one in a recycling depot??????

Re: Hotpoint WMA35 did I mess it up?

Thanks. I guess I got fed up with Hotpoint for never turning up. Oh well Unless anyone can offer any solution other than chuck it…… I guess a new washer is on the cards… what to buy?
