The programmes are slow because of the low water levels, not due to constant heating – it’s actually a very economical appliance on both water and energy.

Thank you Penguin, that is great news about the economy bit!

I have emailed mks- spare parts and grovelled big time about having a manual emailed over…or can they just tell me what 5/6/7 means on the dial if they cant (would be nice to have a manual though..to know how to best use the machine 😳 ).

    will await their reply.

Thanks for the link, would never have known where to look.

    Re: Bosch WFF 2001 Leaking

    Hi

Just read your thread with interest as we have just bought a wff 2001 second hand last night and when I did a google search in NZ! your thread came up…as I need help with what is what.

5/6/7 cycles. What does that mean ?(No manual came with the machine) and is there a cycle that I can do cold…or nearly cold that isnt going to take 2 1/2 hrs like the 90 deg one did or 1.55 like the 40 deg coloured did.?
I realise now after reading your posts that it takes that long to heat the water etc….which means more money for power etc so dont want to do that (as electricity like everything else is expensive in nz)

I had a gorenji pacific (I know…old, but bought it new 15 yrs ago when Yugoslavia was yugoslavia!) but it just stopped 2 days ago…and too hard to get parts etc and so bought the bosch for $160.

any help with what the numbers mean would be great!! thank you 😆
    Nicola
