Just run the second test wash. Back to limp old water. So maybe the pump sprung into life for a while on that first wash.
I am gonna order a new pump.

When I removed it this morning it seemed ok – it had some resistance which I understand is ok.
Just running another wash cycle to see what happens. Wife is happy as at least she is getting up to date with her washing. 🙂

Well this is strange.
After running the first test wash the machine stuck again in the same place with an E20 error. Disconnected the waste pipe and prepared for more manual emptying.
Then during the rinse cycle the water started to gush out of the pipe with some real force – even with two buckets I struggle to keep up with it. This wasn’t the case two nights ago. Even with the waste pipe elevated it still gushed out.
Has my pump started to work????

Thanks for that. I think there is some backfill from the sink, the waste pipe is higher than the u-bend but its difficult to do much else under the sink.

Will this pump be ok for a 1200 series Zanussi?
