    Re: Bosch dishwasher problem

    Martin, you are a star!
I don’t know what I did when I put this back in, but I’ve just removed it, checked that it operates by blowing up the tube, put it back and it’s now working!
Thank you so much for all your help, it’s much appreciated!

Aaah, sorry, what should that do?
Doesn’t seem to be doing anything, perhaps I disturbed something during my cleaning.

    Re: Bosch dishwasher problem

Yes, as I said at first, it fills, then gets to a point where the float bobs up and down, so drain/fill/drain/fill.
One thing, when I removed and replaced the fill matrix, I’m wondering if I put the corrugated pipes back on the right way, does it matter if they are swapped over?
Just answered that last one myself, no, it’s still doing drain/fill/drain/fill.

    Done it!
It was perfectly clear, so no problem there.

How do I access it under the sump?
Do I need to remove the bottom of the machine?

Cannot see a way to remove the corrugated pipe.

    Re: Bosch dishwasher problem

No black plastic arm. The only arm I can see, is a red plastic arm, operated by the float.
This does go up and down, as the water enters the machine.
There is another arm, also red, that sits underneath this arm, possibly an anti-flood device.

I haven’t removed it, but it is clear, I have blown it through.

Hi Martin, yes, (watching it now), float is bobbing up and down, however there is water in the dishwasher.
Any suggestions as to where to look for the blockage?

I went through the whole deal of swapping out capacitors, but in the end I had to replace the boards.

“fixed the clicky fridge door hinge”
    Is the lower one?
If so, mine does that, (very annoying) how did he fix it?

Thanks for trying, I figured as much, they are very old, but serviceable, apart from the seals.

If you mean the indicator for the water filter, just hold the OK button in for a few seconds.
I had the same problem myself the first time I changed the filter, there is nothing in the manual so I had to ring Whirlpool.
