    Re: Bosch SGS5002GB/07

i agree with SENE i went to a hotpoint machine once all seemed fine but during parts of a wash it would stop, i even tried a new timer and brought machine home to fully test, all seemed fine. returned the machine set it up and it would play up again. turned out to be loose connections inside the socket. fitted a new socket as there were few burn marks in old one and all worked fine 🙁

    Re: PAT Testing

To legally do pat testing you need to be competent to do so meaning 2 exams at college these are City & Guilds 2377/01 Management of Electrical Equipment Maintance
City & Guilds 2377/02 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment
And of course you will need a pat tester witch needs a calibration certificate and will itself need pat testing.
the course i was on was 1 evening a week for 6 weeks. but you can do a full day then go for the exams depending on your working hours.

best free security scan and online viruscan is this site i have found.
    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
only good if you can load the site. outherwise get a friend to download AVG free antivirus programe and do a full system scan and install adaware and do full scan with that too. if things get too bad format and reinstall is your best bet

    Hi
when i found the fan was seized i cheated and removed the front of machine and the drum. this gave me a good chance to check it and the bearings and seals and clean out the case and ductwork. fan is definatley seized. i shall get new one with the pump and hopefully get this machine back together and back to customer soon thanks for all your help. 😀

Hi is this machine heating the water correctly ❓ also is it pumping the water around. sometimes certain types or powders or tablets can stop water pumping around at the preasure to blast dirt away.
