    Had this error with my DWF50. Didn’t fancy paying the £90 (or whatever it would have been).
    Unscrewed the pump part (which is quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be) – then found there was some fatty deposits which were obviously stopping the “spinney thing” from spinning.
    Cleaned it up and re-assembled and the damn thing worked like a charm 🙂
    Would have felt so ripped off if I knew that is all it was and had to fork out.
    Many thanks to the people on this forum for giving me the confidence to get stuck in 🙂

    (I was getting very worried I would have to start washing dishes again by hand!!!!!) *Shudder*
