ParticipantRe: The Easy Way to remove Hotpoint Drum Bearings
Cost, Jim, its all about cost – Martin’s an Independent (partly off the planet – we all know that), so time is less of an issue than expense. It’s worth his while to “recover” a back half and fit new bearings and seals, than to go for the half tank. To sole traders this is often the difference between the job getting done or lost – and sometimes not being paid!

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Advertise Franchises!
That you posting the other night Jim? Welcome to our perspective of the madhouse. One of the most terrifiying threads that’s been run on UKW is this one. We expect the network work providers to try and maintain their profitability by keeping to the minimum chargeable rate they can get away with, but to encourage an employed engineer to chance everything on the honesty of their former employer and try to earn a living on this contract is disgraceful and, in my opinion, dishonest.
I hope it works out for you. Read on and you’ll find that there is a remarkable support network in here when you do go on your own.
Good luck,

ParticipantRe: Public Liability Insurance
Curious little aside from this – we’ve had a letter from Hendy’s, one of our bigger rental agency customers, asking for a copy of our certificate of public liability, to forward to their insurers for their own public liability.

“Confugered” – a word which Frank Muir and his team will now define in three different ways…………. 😆

You will also need to check the cold water inlet valve – it is possible that one of the solenoids has failed. Pull the plug first :plug:

Check around the door area for the model number please Alison. Failing that it may be in your users book?

ParticipantRe: Lectron SBIO
Just to round this off, went and fitted a Caple C222W replacement SBIO in this rented property today. Pulled it out of the box and apart from the postion of the control knobs on the facia, it’s the same damn oven as the Lectron! I’m really quite incensed 👿 .

ParticipantRe: Scousers vs Cocknies
Did you offer a little rendition?
“When you walk, through the storm…”
Or at least befriend your new locals?I’m sure you know the rest 😆
Not the finest display of footie prowess – AC Milan will be quaking in their boots – not.
AND the Boro only got a point, so the mighty Cockerels will still have ’em for the last UEFA place 😀
Cheers,

ParticipantRe: Smeg SUK62MFX Main oven won’t heat up
As it’s new, you’re under guarantee, so make the call……. Rather disappointing though.
