ParticipantRe: WME7247S beko motor fault
it smoked today but nothing obvious on the pcb.s . no shorted triacs . nothing looks burned but it smells of burning .maybe from previous burning triacs
fills with water as soon as door is closed .
fault code e10 comes up so might be door switch faulty .petehall347
ParticipantRe: WME7247S beko motor fault
problem solved .
traced and changed drain pump triac .. its now washing normally .. hope it stays that way for a while . this thing seems to like eating triacs for some reason .petehall347
ParticipantRe: WME7247S beko motor fault
bloody thing has broken again .. different fault though . fills with water ok but drain pump is running continuous . fault is e08 . water not filling up .well it cant fill up with pump running .
must be a problem on the pcb . maybe pump triac is switching on when it should be off ? i dunno . i know the triacs arent testing shorted so i will have to dig deeper .petehall347
ParticipantRe: WME7247S beko motor fault
have not used the machine for a while now . put washing in earlier then found it had e09 fault .suspected door triac yet again . stripped the board out and sure enough the triac was blown apart . fitted new triac and its now working again .
there must be a strange fault with this machine to be blowing triacs when not in use .petehall347
ParticipantRe: WME7247S beko motor fault
good news .
resistors came in today and a brand new 1mm iron tip that makes it much easier than using the 2.3mm tip being as the resistors are 0805 smd devices .
anyway just done a full on wash approx 2.5 hrs at 80 degrees .
finished program no problem . nice clean laundry .
seems to have spun better this time .may have been the trolley token at fault i found in the pump filter ..petehall347
ParticipantRe: WME7247S beko motor fault
well it has just blown the door triac on the front board and 2 resistors . i have triacs but no resistors .they are on order . i suspect the switch blew the triac so i already replaced the switch .

ParticipantRe: Beko wm5100w fault
i would first check the wiring is intact on the motor . if so remove motor for bench testing . also look for burned boards etc .

ParticipantRe: WME7247S beko motor fault
well that turned out to be relatively easy .. found a corroded off wire at the motor multi plug . soldered and crimped terminal back on ..was the violet wire ..
its got a load in it for testing ..
hope this helps someone else with the same intermittent problem -
