    Ok so is it worth getting it fixed by an engineer.

    What sort of cost am I talking about.

    Not looked whether sealed or not yet.

    How can i find out if the bearings are diy replaceable or whether they are the sealed unit ypes I’ve heard about that basically means a new machine?

    Its def the fan thats knackered. the motot running the fan is fine. Is it an easy job the replcae fan? Its sealed all around with gasket, plus i need to take the drum flywheel off the back to get at it, a seriously sized allan key is required for this.

    Hi I’ve just talen the back off. The heating duct runs along top centre front ot back. then dive 90degress downwards. There is a round part of teh duct mounted vertiucally on the back, this is sealed in cast metal. The belt runs from a motoe mounted on bottom of machine to the centre of the round bit on the duct. the duct end of this balet (i assume cenre spindle of encased does not turn. (the motor does), there is a rubber tube running from the rear of the heating duct to the vicenity of the powder tray.

    Are we talking about the same machine. Any ideas?

    Sorry to be a dullard but where exactly is the fan motor and blades, i can see them from the top. I have checked wires all seem ok at first sight.

    Model number M9173 Help, i have reset kick out switch, but still no fan and rapidly heats up and trips again.
