    phoned em and they gave me the number for dill and sons, and they said they even struggle to get hold of em, as its littlewoods own brand so most the times they just replace the appliance for the customer than repairing it.

    I dont think its gonna happen is it?

    tried almost everything, seems it must be the board i guess, time to call EMW to get one ordered!

    where do you find it on these models? are they the same as the indesit’s then? how can you check if it is the pressure switch and not pcb?

    but if it was the pressure switch then wouldnt it just fill up? cos that dont seem to be the case

    hotpoint have been out and because there was some coins stuck in the pump they claim the warranty is void, well thats what the customer has told us anyway

    i do apoligise if this has been annoying but as you am aware i havent got a clue 🙁

    and the engineer has a computer phobia, were gonna pick the machine up from them and get a new heater put in, will let you know how we got on 😉

    so is this a common fault with these hotpoints?

    ps just a thought would putting it onto a hot feed not resolve the problem?

    and also we ran it on the cold wash only by leaving the temperature knob off and the cycle worked fine, but when we turn the temperature on then it doesnt stop.

    So do these machines not have a thermostat?
