I have been lucky and managed to get hold of them and an engineer is coming out to me next week.

This is an error I had on my dishwasher. When I finally got through to the necht hot line, I told the person the fault and they said they would send a replacement dishwasher out for me. Trouble is, the way they did it, someone delivers a new dishwasher, then they send an engineer to remove old and fit new, and then they arrange for someone to come and pick up the old one. ie three visits to the house.It all sounds too good to be true, but just to let you know the one they replaced it with, which is apparently a higher spec model, went wrong after 6 weeks and I am still waiting for them to repair….

It has the L shaped element as you described, so what should I look for now. The main prob I have is its an integrated appliance, so for me to start lugging it around may be more trouble than it is worth. However if it is a quick solution I am more than happy to have ago. I will in the meantime keep trying Maple!!!!!! No holding of breath from this side though, mind you they have been very good and replaced x 2 without question, would have been nice to be replaced with a model without faults though!!!
