You may have a faulty microswitch or a sticking floater

The board and motor was changed because the motor blew the board.
I have followed the instructions the the letter.
I have changed about 200 of these with no problem but this one has got me stumped.raider6723
ParticipantRe: door seal
Remove the front panel by removing the soap drawer and taking out the screws once you have done that slide the control panel gently to the right and lift off and lay it on the top asuming you have taken the lid off first.
You will now see 2 screws at the top of the panel take them out.
Remove the kickplate at the bottom and remove the 2 screws there as well. Also take the door lock screws out the panel will now lift off and out of the way and you will see a screw holding a wire band round the door seal unscrew it and remove the old door seal.
To replace the door seal first of all add a touch of fairy liquid to the inside lip of the door seal so it will move round when the drum side is on as the hole at the bottom must line up with the hole in the drum now you can secure it with the wire band and screw the rest is just reverse of above.
Remember do it with the power off.raider6723
ParticipantRe: Problem with Whirlpool AWM 820
The AWM 820 will only take in hot water on prog 2.
All the rest of the programs take in cold and heat to the temp. that is preset in the timer. If it is not heating at 40 or 50 deg then I suggest you check the heater element or fixed thermostat. The washing should come out cold at the end of the wash as it rinses in cold water only if it comes out warm at the end of the wash then the inlet hoses are on the wrong way round.Whirpool Engineer.
