    Re: Ikea oven replacement

Thanks for checking that out Don. Might advise customer to get a kitchen fitter to make the changes and take it from there.
    Thanks again

You might want to swap the cold fill pipe round as well. The elbow fitting goes to the machine end

Cheers for that bit of info ally it makes perfect sense, was thinking about maybe showing how to remove and clean a soap drawer or how to gauge a wash load etc.

I’ve got in running on a Win 7 laptop, seem to remember having to make it run as XP in the options.. Would really be useful if it could run in Android though

Try a Panasonic toughbook, never used one myself but there are loads of videos on youtube showing how much punishment it can take.

Re: Starting up an Appliance repair business

I went self employed myself in January Den, and got some great advice when I too asked on here. Robbra very kindly sent me a copy of the flyer he mentioned and it is a very simple but very clever piece of marketing and has defiantly worked (Cheers Rob). I found I got the best flyer response from both new build estates the type young professionals would live, and streets with larger family homes, without too many converted flats.

I personally don’t do free estimates, most people do understand that im not going to run around for nothing.

If you haven’t got and web hosting yet godaddy are doing a great deals at the moment.

Best thing for me is as Im a single dad I can work around my daughters schooling.

Best decision Ive made in years going self employed
Good luck if you go for it

Lee thanks for confirming what I suspected that if someone is asking for a free call out their probably not worth the effort.
