Re: Bosch WTA4007GB/03 tumble dryer belt

I had a look and there is no tension pulley in my tumble dryer
Maybe this tension pully only in the models WTA4007/01 and /02 and not in the /03?
It looks to me that my new belt (1930H) is a bit to long, because there is no tension pulley.
On my old broken belt, I see something like EPH 1906, does anybody if this a model number for this machine ?

    Any help is welcome

    Cheers
    Ron

Thanks for your help, replaced the Start Capacitor and pressed the red switch of the automatic fuse and it works again.

    Thanks again.

Re: Bosch Clasixx WTA4007GB/03 Tumble dryer;no spin no heat

    Thanks NomadPaul,

Under the cover I found a capacitor, I guess that is the start capacitor.
    275V ~ and 0.022 uF
Are there anyother things I need to look out for when I am going to Maplin to get a new capacitor ?

I haven’t looked for the fuse yet, but I am sure that should be easy to find.

    Thanks Dave,

What about the second part of my question,
Do you or somebody else have experience with this:

I cannot reach the connector to unplug the heater, it is inside the tumple dryer, do you know a way to get it out or do I need to dismantel the whole machine.

    Hello,

I have a similar problem, no heat and Clean filter light is on, only the heat element seems ok, the problem is probably the thermostat or termal fuse.

    My question is:
Did you manage to unplug the whole thing ?
In my tumble dryer, the plug is inside the machine and I can’t unplug it.
Hopefully you can give me some advice

    cheers

Did you fix the problem by replacing the small microtemp just inside the dryer housing ?

    Tzanrina,
Did you replace the heater assembly and did it fix the problem ?
