Re: Siemens dishwasher starts to fill then stops

New capacitor in place. Dishwasher up and running for a fiver.

Thanks for all help in identifying where the various parts were hiding and how to get in to them.

    Cheers!

Sorry for the delay in replying. We’d to wait till we got our meter back today.

Checked the start capacitor and yes, looked ok but it is dead.

Thanks for your help over the weekend. Will keep you posted on our progress.

Thanks, checked, motor can be turned but does not start at all. Capacitor looks OK visually, will check relay when we find it!
    Thanks for the info

    Re: Neff Ovens

    Hi,

    I bought the B1422. Did everything I wanted at a decent price – £438.
Bought on-line from Boots Kitchen Appliances (operated by DRL Limited). http://www.bootskitchenappliances.com

I’d done a search to see who had the best price. Boots came out tops with the added bonus of mega amount of Advantage Card Points.

Delivered within a week. E-mailed beforehand to say when delivery would take place, that the appliance would be unpacked and packaging removed by the Delivery Team.

Telephoned the day before to ensure I would be at home within the 4 hour slot of Tuesday morning. Must have been last on the lorry as arrived at dawn. 😆

Follow up email same day, to check customer satisfaction.

Good experience. No hesitation in recommending Boots. 😀

Yes Greg, I’ve noticed Siemens are a bit more pricy. Even with our discount it is still too much 😳 for the same functions as the Neff 1722.

    😆
Thanks. Other half works for Siemens.
I have a Siemens dishwasher which is very efficient.

Ovenwise, Neff seems to give more information than Siemens on its capability and there is a web page for its users. 🙂

    Tending towards the Neff, methinks.

So, in the days before the wicked microwave came along, did people catch cancer from the microwaves emitted by a passing alien ship?
