Replaced the heater relay with Maplins JM67X. Five minutes with asoldering iron, perfect fit physically, and the dishwasher works like new. Cost £1.31, compared to £50 for the board. I’m happy!

ParticipantRe: Indesit D41UK – Not Heating (Intermittent)
For the sake of 68p (and a couple of pounds p&p) I’ll order the thermistor and then have a look next time it lets me down (it’s been ok the last few times – temperamental thing!) :rolls:
Thanks again! 🙂

Many thanks, Jim. 😀 Would the Maplins thermistor trick work on this one, and is it worth trying? 😕

ParticipantDo Maplins do this on purpose? Out of the four thermistors that they list (4.7k, 15k, 47k and 150k), three are available in store (and in stock at my local branch) for 68p. Guess which one is ‘web only’ with £2.99 postage, and a 28 day delivery! 🙁

ParticipantRe: Indesit DE43 not heating properly
I have a similar problem, so for the sake of 68p, I’ll try the Maplin route! 🙂
Some differences though, mine is an Indesit D41, and the fault is intermittent; sometimes it works fine, other times it cuts the program short without heating the water, and gives a faster #4 (right-hand) LED flash.
The heater element is ok when checked (can these give an intermittent fault, or would it just die completely, if it was faulty?).
If it’s the PCB, which one do I need?
Oh, and the fault first appeared shortly after I had replaced a burned-out (black and crispy!) temperature sensor; could this have damaged the PCB?
Many thanks, very grateful for any help.

Many thanks, Dave,
Checked filter; Stripped & reassembled pressure pipe, cleared possible blockage. Seems OK now!

ParticipantRe: Indesit W103 programme selector clicks round and round
Greetings, All.
I have a similar problem, but with a ’10 flash’ code. On any wash program, it fills for ~20 secs, then stops for another ~20 secs. Then it drains & clicks round, with 10 flash code ad infinitum. However, ‘drain/spin only’ works normally.
Any guidance gratefully received!
