    Iadom, I am absolutely delighted with the info you sent me.
    As I’ve said on this forum before, I come from the mechanical programmer era and never got fully to grips with the digital one.
    However, I “take a look “at family and friends appliances and with the assistance of your excellent forum I’ve had many successes. (Makes me think of going back to it despite age etc)
    With info like this the task doesn’t seem that daunting.

    Machine has seen some hard work and replacing the PCB would not be justified.

    As I’ve often said on this forum I come from cam switch era and never fully got to grips with the electronic era.

    Thanks to both of you for the excellent replies.
    This problem was indeed in the door stats.
    One was o/c and the other had a burnt connection.
    Replaced the two, remade connection and all is well.

    Don’t do much in the domestic repair now (bit past it).

    Only for a family member or a friend.

    Found the prob.no water in chamber but float stuck.
    Thanks to Dave and iadom, wouldn’t have found it without your help.

    One of the old boys [cam switch era] so the electronics still give me probs.
