had the same last week. found that water had gone onto the ntc and had shorted out. The other thing to check is that the diagphram is free in the pressure chamber and is not stuck. The ntc pushes into the sump to the left of the heater and the pressure chamber is in a similar position.[/quote thanks very much whiskey -six will check that

thanks for that fan is working ok though so we are a bit at a loss with this fault.
