Re: Zanussi FL 1082 bearing replacement

so shaft is on front section and need both to guarentee repair?
do the bearings drift out ok and new ones tap in with suitable round drift.

Done this before with a drum i had to take out from the top. Removing half the cabinet sounds a damn site easier. I take it the white plastic cap on bottom side of cabinet is hiding a screw or bolt?

    Cheers for advice

Paid 60 quid for one off ebay free delivery and brand new. No clips though so get hold of some as well. Stainless jubilee will work as the stainless have a narrower band that will fit the hoses.

Re: Whirlpool APDW 12 stuck near beginning of cycle

    Cheers fellas

ive taken apart the circulation pump and found that the steel around impeller shaft appears cracked (is this the magent or is it in the motor) .I assume its not supposed to be like this but i cant imagine what could have caused such a major crack like this. Its a pretty hefty piece of steel/magnet.
Cant post a piccy dont understand the url business

any way there are 2 cracks opposite each other and run the full length of steel/magnet.

    Have i found my fault???

    Hi
    Thanks for reply

It seems to be working intermittently now. Sometimes it goes through the programme sometimes it doesnt. Think it is heating ok.?
