    yes the element is held place with 2 screws when you remove the side panel (r/h) you will see 2 seperate wires going to the element , its located under the top oven base and the mail oven top panel, you may have to pull back the insulation. again make sure the power is off

    hi everyone
    the fault is the top oven base element has failed, not the top oven thermostat, or the grill or top element.its the base element, its located under the base of the top oven / grill compartment, you have to remove the right hand side panel to gain access.MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF

    the customer is right ,did you fit the 2 hinges and 2 hinge recievers?, you need to check with hotpoint for the correct part number, you will need to quote the serial number,to see what hinges and recievers you will need
