yes im afraid you will have to remove oven to gain access to the element fixing screws,as always make sure you turn off the power to the oven befoe comencing any repairs, remember saftey first

yes dissconnect all 3 supply wires (l,n,&e) then test again as you can get earth faults with the supply cable still connectedsteve1
