That’s true, just adds to the cost of replacing a machine.
Why can’t the fitting being a standard one?

Good idea, but the door has a handle on it,so that would’t work.

Ah I see 🙁
I have had another look tonight, the problem lies with where the ‘Door Catch’ goes in, yesterday I put something in there so that I could see the dishwasher running, well my neighbour has the same model and where I stuck something in to by pass the interlock, on mine it’s in a ‘Backward possition’, hers is forwards, how can I bring it forwards, I don’t really want to pay for a repair.

Unfortunately as the door doesn’t seem to shut properly, it doesn’t start, so I can’t tell, but I dount think it is fixed,is it possible to remove the tubes at the back of the dishwaher that take the water up to the top basket, so I can see if that is blocked? My thoughts are, that there is some kind of Blocakage from where the water comes in to the top basket, and that is causing extra water pressure on the bottom ‘Sprinkler’ causing it to make a noise.
So, my imediate problem is getting is so it will wrok again.

Thanks Penguin45 😀
The noise link makes sense, I think the JL has a better specification as far as functions go, I was a little concerned with getting it repaired once the warenty had expired, I can extend to 5 years for £60 I think,so might consider that. Thanks again,
