Ha thank you very much indeed phil, unfortunately I won’t be attending this job someone else will as it’s out of my area ( what a shame ) I had one of these last week ( g series ) f 70 error. But when I attended all I could find was a kinked and split drain hose.

Thanks for the quick reply I did notice the stagnating residue in the back and the customer also has a mouse problem. The thing that is making matters worse is that it’s an insurance job and I think he’s a chancer trying to get a machine that’s just out of warranty written off. Which will go against me on the grounds of firstly a recall possibly a complaint followed by a BER which will all go against my figures. Every day I give 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} to my customers and calls at the expense of my free time with my family bearing in mind that I’m only 24 I feel that I’m more focused than most!
it’s these kinds of people that make this industry demoralising

Replace the defrost sensor and place it on the capillary higher up,
Check thermal fuse also as these constantly fail, after switch on machine and hold the top left and bottom right buttons for 15 seconds, power freeze and vacation I think??
it will beep after 10 but 15 seconds beeps and this is the defrost temperature settings.
Set the first option to 3 this is the freezer side and set the next option to 13 this is the fridge
You have now changed the temperature at which the defrost cuts off and cooling returns.
This is what samsung specify but the original NTC also reaches the capillary fine.
Personally I think a change in Def. Times is the fix. And raising the probe is a precautionHope this helps
