    Thanks for the replies. I’ll give my local electrician a call tomw. Are there any other symptoms we / he should look out for. Or questions I should ask?

    What is the best way to get into the machine to find this pipe – also where roughly am I looking to find damage and is it just a case of replacing pipe with similar stuff from B&Q?
