Re: At what point does one walk out on a job…..

I’ve no problems with the machines just customers. I once went to a Bosch washing machine and could get the drain pump to work. I removed the drain pump and low and behold there was a condom wrapped around the pump. I showed this to the woman of the house who asked me who it belonged too? I quickly replied that it definitely wasn’t mine! She said well we don’t use them. The husband was washing up at the sink with a very sheepish look on his face. She wasn’t best pleased and I made a fast getaway after being cashed up.

Told the customer to call Siemens who replaced the said board at a cost of £80 call out. Customer well happy.

Many Thanks. I thought as much, as I had power in but none out. I just wanted confirmation.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did explain the full fault as I always supply a letter explaining all the symptoms. It was a genuine door lock, two fitted. I had another look today at this one. If the door lock is removed and still wired up, hanging loose past the door seal even when just switched on the door lock just clicks without even pressing the start button after the program is selected.

    Re: Miele W865 Error Code

I sent the board for repair using EBay £28 with a quick turn around. The fuse and relay were replaced. Advised to replace shock absorbers as vibration causes the failure. It seems that this is a common problem on Miele over 10 years old.
