ParticipantMany thanks for the replies. The serial number is correct 11824 I always take a photo of the ID plates now. All zone lights are flashing with the E2 error. A parts list would certainly give me a start.

ParticipantBoth the module and the heat pump changed. I ran the diagnostic program and E31 error displayed. I contacted Siemens Tech desk who stated that the fault was on the drying side. This machine has a metal container located just behind the module with an element and a fan which I believe drys the load. I don’t see how this would affect the wash cycle which has no heat? I will need to check the resistance on the drying element which should be 27-28 ohms.

ParticipantYes water height appears fine about 15mm above the filter assy. There is another item plugged into the sump with a couple of wires. I’m not sure what it is or what it does. This machine is one of the top of the range all singing and dancing with interior lights. I do get a reading on the ohms meter so would assume its serviceable. I wonder if this is what determines the water pressure to switch the heater on as you suggested! I might just fit a new one to rule it out.

ParticipantThe tumble dryer does everything apart from heat. The water base collection tank was checked with only a little water in it. I did try it with wet cloths in. If it is the module it comes unprogrammed unless you can advise me? Regards Taff

Further to the above just put the machine into test mode and F13 is displayed. Does anyone know how to test these brushless motors?

Tried a new reed switch with same result. I disconnected the reed switch and tried again, the machine filled no problem so I have assumed that there is a problem with the control module which has made the repair uneconomical. Unless of course someone knows better?

Thanks Dave, the machine is empty but have checked the user manual, they talk about a blocked syphon? What syphon are they on about, where is it?

ParticipantRe: Fischer Paykel Dishwasher DD605H Panel Fuse Blown
Been in contact with Fisher Paykal. Very helpful with this fault. Apparently the if dryer motor has a fault this then causes the control module to fail. If you have this fault then the module and dryer motor should be changed.
