No there is no switch.I thought i had fixed it then-i switched it on again and it had stopped flickering-i switched it off and fitted the housing cover-then it started flickering again.grr..
If i look at where the bulb goes in,there seems to be a seal round it-a bit like a rubber seal.teresagreen

I do need to be careful because it isnt moving.I am defrosting it overnight-I think I will try it again when it is completely dry-any other tips how to loosen it then?Wd 40?

thanks-i will go and look now.So is the bulb likely to be a bayonet cap? I have tried to loosen it (with the fridge off) but its not moving.

Its a 90 width-and yes I am looking for something traditional-to match a black cooker.,or if i found it was possible for a builder to build a sort-of canopy over the cooker-something to fit in there.
What do i need to look for?

Its just that i read a Which report today and it seemed to be saying that was the only type that could be suitable.
