Re: Installing a (Range ) Cooker by a window?

After speaking to a kitchen planner and input from OH ,we decided that aesthetically, it might not look quite right to other people in front of the window, (if we ever had to sell the house,we dont plan to,but who knows),so have re jigged the storage and put it on the short wall. We need to buy a hood now to finish off the look ,so just off to read the section on here about extractors. I know Range master do a black one for about £400 but hadnt planned to buy one.Need to do some more research.

Re: Installing a (Range ) Cooker by a window?

I spoke to Rangemaster today, they confirmed it would be ok as long as the window was sealed(no draughts) which it is.We have a utility room next to the kitchen,so I could just open the window on that for extra ventilation. Thanks for all your help.

Presumably if i just keep the window shut when the gas hob is on it would be ok.

    Re: Looking for advice-buying cooker.

Grr..Looked at the Rangemaster stockist list and went to view them at MFI (Wont be buying from them),they have changed their showroom display and so didnt have several of the models they are supposed to.

Anyway now know I could have a smaller oven,90cm wide, rather than the 110.Think we want all gas.,and ideally one with a glass lid.
I am confused on the Rangemaster website because when you select gas ranges,it still selects some that have electric fan ovens.

Can anyone tell me which ones are all gas,90cm and maybe have a glass lid too?,

don wrote:Okay if you take out Stainless Steel you still have some pretty good colours which would go in a cream kitchen. Silver, Champagne, Gun Metal and the Gloss Black. Have you checked the product / dealer locator to see if anyone near you has the colours in stock? or maybe phone Rangemaster direct for any colour swatches.

I am going to be looking at them soon,i really like the toledo 110 but i would like to pay less for a lesser model from them-i will have to go and look at the features and colours in a showroom.I

    Re: Looking for advice-buying cooker.

Ho could I find out if there is a factory shop for rangemaster-looking maybe at the Toledo dual fuel 110 at the moment-or am i likely to get any “bargains” in the january sales anywhere on these? (It will be to go with a cream coloured kitchen i dont have a clue what colour will go with that but probably not stainless steel.) Also looking for a miele or bosch dishwasher at the same time.
