I’ll have a look it does sound like the fan. Mind me asking where you source the parts from? Looking at places online it’s hard to filter things by model.

Hi Dave,
There’s been a development! The fridge and freezer are still cooling fine, but now when the freezer door is closed the freezer compartment keeps making a loud rattling noise. Looking online this could be an issue with the evaporator fan motor. Maybe with the freezer being so cold again now it’s gotten iced up? Before I start taking the back panel of the freezer off to have a look does this sound like it could be the issue? Thanks for your help.

When the oven cuts out everything shuts off. The fan, the light, everything. We have to open the door and wait for it to cool down before turning it back on again.

Hi Dave,
Just to give you an update. Fitted the new capacitor (took about 5 mins), and now the fridge runs perfectly! The freezer is even freezing properly which is a bonus. Thank you for all your help, feels good to be able to fix your own stuff!

Just taken the panel out and can confirm that the pic you’ve got is correct, the capacitor is 0.68 uf.
Unfortunately it won’t let me upload photos due to file size, but I think I can see the capacitor. Is it a 4 micro Fared capacitor, I can see it at the base of the bottom.
