Its ok…I pulled it to bits and can see now how it all fits together.

Still not sure why its jamming though…seems free enough + no play in impeller.

…then a standard ASKOLL pump should do you

Thanks…I did see some of those type on ebay Australia also.

Does the one you linked to actually have the impeller housing as well (its a bit unclear from the photo)…effectively I need something that I can attached the 2 rubber hoses to ie one that comes out of the base of the washer and the drain hose connects to the other end. It also has a check valve/flap integrated into it also.

Mine kinda looks more like this…

Thanks for the info…armed with that knowledge I will pull it out again and inspect.

Hope it’s ok, I checked and the pumps are not cheap!

    OK,

    Thanks again for the info.

I’ll see if I can do as you suggest, but it may be too close to entry point.

Re: GW609AU Lid Switch Fault – Youtube videos included

I got a price from a local parts supplier in Adelaide today for the drain hose…$80!

This seems like a lot for a length of plastic hose…is it made of carbon fibre?

Are there any non-genuine options or am I stuck with replacing it with the genuine article?

It is kinked right at the point where it exists the machine…I’m assuming someone has pushed the machine back hard against a wall and squashed it.

    OK,

    Thanks for the info.

Will any old mineral oil do, or is there something special you should use?

Also what is involved in replacing the drain hose…I have a copy of the parts manual (is the hose part# 425152?) but its not clear how to replace it.
