Re: Indesit WIE127UK – Just got very NOISY!

    Morin,
Just thought I mention I’ve had trouble with a very noisy Indesit machine, dont know if its any help but the guys here got me to check that all the balance weights were secured properly. I found that the front weight under the port hole was loose and after being tightened, No more noise.
If you check out my thread on the forum it may be of some help, it certainly saved me a wod of cash.
    Good luck.

    Hi all,
Just a quick update, I managed to gain access to the front balance weight and low and behold I was able to move the washers with my fingers. So with just a tightening turn on all three bolts, Bobs yer uncle now more deafening noise.
Thank you to everybody who replied and happy new year to you all.
    Cheers.

    Evenin all,
After last post went off to check front balance weight and mounting points. Well viewed from the back the mounting points look fine but the bal weight I cant get to to check, the door seal does not want to come away from the casing, is there some fastener somewhere holding this tight to the casing?
Or am I not going about getting access to the front of the machine in the wrong way?
Any help will be greatfully recieved. Cheers.

    Morin’ all,
The balance weight at the front, how do I get access to it.
Does the door hinge have to be unbolted and then the door seal removed to allow the front off the machine?

    Evenin’ Johnny,
These balance weights can I get to them to see if they are the problem or do I need to call the man?

    Hi Martin,
I’ve just had a look and I cant really feel any movment at all. I opened the door held the outer drum (white plastic) behind the door seal and tried to move the inner drum. There seems to be no noticable movment.
When not holding the outer drum and moving the inner, the whole thing seems to be well balanced on the spings and shocks, the drum turns freely and theres no evidence of it catching no anything.
If there was lateral movment would it be obvious or are we talking fractional?
    Cheers.
    Andy.
