Narrowed the culprit down its the cold water valve thats letting water back into the washer.

If the water is clean then you may have a faulty inlet valve, very rare on such a young machine but not unheard of. If it still leaks in after you have eliminated the outlet/drain pipe as a possible cause then if the machine is hot & cold fill, turn off the tap to either hot or cold. If it doesn’t fill overnight then the valve from the supply you have turned off is faulty, if it still fills then obviously the other one is.
If it is a cold fill only then turn off the cold tap overnight.

Thanks for that jim will have ago at this tonight as before i went on our hols i checked the waste pipe etc and it was clean no sign of blockage etc and yes the water is clean.
Ill turn one of the feeds off later to try and find which one it is.
Presuming the out come will be that what will i be looking at etc for fixing itThanks
