thanks for that guy’s – think it is ridiculously over priced for a switch (compared to delonghi etc)

as i said i have never fitted one before, so that normally put’s you off them when they aren’t known to be dodgy / suspect.
thats why i am posting up on here ‘cos i think i’d be wasting me pennies!
know what you mean about terminal blocks burning, have seen that before.(although i didnt notice any when i metered fan)

ok, thanks for your replies, much appreciated,

but still cant make sense of it, thought i had covered all angles and want you guy’s input to make sure i ain’t overlooking something.

think i covered everything mentioned so far(except changing fan motor)-
ruled that out as meters out o.k, and runs in service mode?
also, the fact there is no error code (i know they aren’t brill on these), so that just left me thinking must be the old favourite -the p.c.b?
although, i cannot remember ever fitting one before.
will be an expensive c@ck up if i get it wrong!

are there any other possibilities?

will most probably be inlet valve o/c
triple valve on them, meter them out and i’m sure you’ll find 1 of em is dead!
