Thanks steve, but they were too quick. The capacitor was dispatched before i’d read your post lol.
Is there a link that explains the best way to change the capacitor ?

    Thanks for the help.
Forgot to add that I can hear the ‘motor’ trying to turn, does the capacitor give a power boost to get the dru going? Also, I think the heater has gone. Any easy way I check this, given that the drum probelm ?

Well after another weekend of ‘guess what program I’m going to run’ 😈
and the glasses on the top rack coming out with the all to often grit deposits (took the machine apart & cleaned out the fill-chamber again a few weeks ago) I admit defeat. 😥
Now I’m sorry not to give you the spares work but to be honest I think the £114 for the new PCB would be better spent on a new machine.
So, I know no make is perfect, but you boys must know which makes are better than others, any suggestions (apart for buy a pair of Marigolds)?
    Thanks

    Dave thanks for the reponse.
Any easy way of checking if it’s the PCB? The machine is still working, it’s just a bit of a guessing game which program it’s going to run, but at 114+vat I might be willing to put up with it.
