    Re: Hotpoint wf240, where do the wires go?

    Thank you for your reply Martin, sorry for being a tad bit frustrated.. I had just come off the phone to hotpoint at that time. I’m use to fixing motorbikes and wire diagrams are easy to come by.

    Yeah, I’d usually take a photograph of such things, but was in a rush when I unplugged the pcb. Thank you for your help though.

    you are correct, after reconnecting it all, the fault still remains. (Hot point had advised me it was a heater relay stuck after I told them what lights were flashing)

    Just noticed, the washing machine will work if only about 4 items of clothing are inside, but if a full load it starts flashing like a Christmas tree. Is there some sort of pressure/weight switch?

    Cool dude.

    “we’ll try to point you in the right direction” What is the right direction by the way? And people can take legal action against advice on forums?

    Hotpoint = no help.
    forums = no help
    just rang the people who charged £42 to not fix my non faulty pcb for advice, and they can’t help.

    Thank you for your reply 🙂

    I’ve checked the wires and they all seem intact 🙁 Theres a shop on ebay that will repair my module of PCB for£42 with a 12month guarantee, would you recommend this?
