ParticipantAlso, turn the water off under the sink, remove the hose from back of machine, position hose into condenser pipe and inject a few squirts of water down pipe to clear any blockages in there. Clean fluff from fan blade too.

ParticipantI’ve seen this before, normally when the temperatures of both sides are set too low. The fix was to have the temperatures set to -18°c and 4°c, no lower. Not suggesting your temps are too low, but this was how I got around this type of problem in the past.

ParticipantThanks for the help guys. The ice maker was recently replaced for the same fault, by an engineer.

ParticipantYeah, I get that, but there is no water entering the ice tray. Would the not getting to temperature affect water getting into the tray? I don’t think it’s a problem with the solenoids behind the ice maker, water is still being dispensed. I’m thinking perhaps there’s a break in the wiring somewhere inside the freezer door as is common with Kenwoods. Does that make sense?

ParticipantThat I don’t know. Plays the end of cycle noise then is switched off asap.

ParticipantThanks Dave, it was working completely fine until a few days ago. So leaning towards new board, we think? It’s weird, if the power isn’t cut immediately after the cycle, it automatically wants to fill cold water again. Yes it’s definitely connected to a cold feed.
