That makes sense, thank you. So if that’s the case I could in theory replace the triac on the PCB if I can get the details somewhere. Also the triac has sole function to send AC pulse to activate actuator to open the dispenser tray only then? That explains why the dishwasher is working fine otherwise.

    Hi Dave,
Sorry I wasn’t clear in my post but I already tried it with the front cover removed, and I confirm the actuator (old and new doesn’t trigger) during the cycle. I think it is likely the board. When the board sends signal to activate what voltage should I be seeing on the connector?

Hi Martin thank you, that sounds very likely the solution. But before I order up I just want to double check. The majority of cycles the dishwasher runs without leaking and there are no warning errors even when it leaks. So is it possible that impeller jug has intermittent fault, sometimes too much water is drawn in and other times it is normal. Thanks so much.

Hi I am sure I have the thermal limiter C00081599 which is circular with two mounting lugs and 2 tabs to connect wires to. Is this the part I need? I will try it in oven later. Thanks.

Yes, but what I was trying to say is that the new one is also open circuit. I checked by piercing the bag it came in with my 2 multimeter prongs. Reads O.L on my meter. Very strange

Hi I checked the thermal limiter (which seems to be just a fuse) for continuity and it was open circuit so I assumed it was faulty. I ordered a new limiter, I haven’t fitted it yet but strangely it also reads no continuity across the terminals. Does this sound right?
