Chinese company Fotile have launched an innovative in-sink dishwasher that looks quite neat but when some of the techs looked at it they only had one comment to make…
“That’s gonna be a nightmare to work on and service, if it’s even installed right.” They didn’t seem too keen on this idea, but customers may well be. Have a look at this video that shows a lot about this sink unit with a dishwasher and “bubble wash” area:

So far as we can see, Fotile is not yet available in Europe, but it is in the US and Canada so we suspect it’s just a matter of time before we see it here. And if not, it would not shock us to see others mimic this type of dishwasher.
Will it sell? Is it just a fad or a curiosity? Who knows, but it’s not cheap, currently selling for about $1300, so likely to be over £1000 if it ever reaches these shores.
