It’s hard to unsee the likeness with the iconic Disney character, we’d say, but there’s a bit more of a serious side to this as this new Candy Multi Wash machine won an award at IFA 2025.
Why, we don’t know, as it’s not a new concept and more in tune with Asian markets than European ones as Asian markets apparently like to wash the likes of underwear and socks separately, whereas in Europe we’ve not seen much demand for that kind or feature. But, here it is with a normal-sized drum and two baby ones for ears, sorry small loads.
And yep, that’s three drums in a taller form factor so it isn’t going to go under a standard 850mm worktop. And, touchscreens on the doors… because that never breaks!
Whilst it’s a cool idea and all that, for anyone that needs such a thing, we can’t help but wonder how many other ways there are for this thing to break and what a nightmare it probably is to work on when it does! But, we’re a cynical bunch, you might have noticed.

Truly, we’re on board with sorting laundry and washing it correctly, but we’re not so sure that this achieves quite what we mean by that.
How much appeal this will have in the European market is obviously unknown, but we’d expect it to be a very niche product, much like the Candy Trio (if you’re old enough to remember that), so we can’t see this being a big seller. Great advert perhaps for Candy..
We can’t find any pricing for it either or any indication on when or even if it will be available, though we’d not expect it to be cheap.
It is nice to see Candy doing something again, though, and the brand having some life sparked into it once more.
