Some days ago we reported that Vestel had reached an agreement to use the Sharp brand under license in Europe, including appliances and it has now been revealed that Paul Molyneux who was appointed as the person set to run this.
Mr Molyneux was appointed as the first non-Japanese Executive Officer back in 2011.

Vestel UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr.Paul Molyneux as its new Managing Director in the UK and as the European Head of the recently formed Sharp Brand licensing programme. Mr Molyneux will start with the Group at the beginning of November.
In his new role, Mr. Molyneux will have total business responsibility for Vestel UK and the Europe-wide licensing agreement that Vestel has recently secured with Sharp for its Domestic Appliances. Mr Molyneux will be based in the new Vestel UK Headquarters in Langley, which will also be the European Head Office for the licensing business.
Mr Molyneux comes to Vestel with 30 years of experience in the Electronics, Domestic Appliances and IT sectors, having gained experience with European, Chinese and Japanese manufacturers. For the last 10 years he was with Sharp Electronic Europe, initially as the UK MD and in the last 3 years as European CEO. Mr.Molyneux will report to Mr.Ahmet Erol, Executive Committee Member ,Vestel.
