ParticipantMany Thanks Dave…..I ordered the D7diode as you recommended and my local washing machine repair guy (Ian at Indoor Market in Stevenage) fitted the new diode and all now working fine. Amazing how such a small part can make such a big difference!

ParticipantSo grateful for the fantastic advice on how to restore power to w/m. Came back from holiday last Sat with loads of washing to clean. Wife filled m/c and pressed on button but no power! I checked the obvious things but no joy. Then googled and found this very helpful thread. Removed power PCB and sure enough diode D7 allowing current flow in both directions.Purchased new one for£2.75, fitted and m/c powered up and went through a full cycle with no problems. Not only saved £££ but also time as we live rurally and it’s difficult to get an appliance engineer to attend. Thanks again.

Participantwow-Dave, and the others that have posted on this thread. I replaced a Beko washer/dryer in August that had gone dead suddenly, the repair guy said it would be e150 to get a new board, or he could seel mee a used machine for e300, so I decided to bite the bullet and just buy a new one.
So two months later, another one goes that was also just out of warranty, I checked online and found this forum, I rang the gujy, told him what I had found and if he could help, he said -yeah, it’s a common issue and he’d take the board to a guy and repair it for e50′ -I hid my frustration that he didnt tell me this with the previous one, so said I’d get back to him. It would be a 30 minute drive each way to get him the board, then same to collect. I went to a local guy that used to fix tv’s, he said hed fix/solder it no problem, if I got the part, got 5 d7 next day delivery for e18, he soldered, I put the board back in the machine, bang, display lit up, I’m back in action, and he only charged e5 for soldering.- so e22, vs e600 for a new one. I try to send as little to the landfill as possible, so this really is a win win win. Thanks to everyone for making me a happy man and my tenants delighted that they were only waiting 2 days for a repair.BTW I am not an engineer, so I have no clue about doing readings or OHMS etc, so if it didn’t work, I was out of options 😀

Participanti know i should start a new post , but thought fellow BEKO owners could help here ,, been googling , i had d7 issue as posted before and all be fine for months , now House mains tripped other day when wife put it onto a drying cycle , reset mains trip , then washer powered on fine , started drying cycle and could hear it draining .. so far so good , then NO spining , motor does not turn , like its getting no power..
I see there is a sperate driver board for the motor ? does anyone have any tips to check , i put meter on motor when running drying cycle , i do not seem to get any voltage .

It can hold a charge for a while after the machine is unplugged, so before working on it, if you don’t have a capacitor discharge tool, check the DC voltage across its terminals with your meter.

ParticipantHi all,
New member, wondering if anyone can help?
I’ve got a BEKO WDIX8543100. Had the no power issue – checked fuses and plugs, all working. I’ve replaced the D7 diode with a new one (100v 2A). But still no power at all!
Really frustrating as I hoped that would solve it.Anybody still had no power after replacing the diode?
I can get a whole new replacement PCB for around £60 but would this solve it?
Many thanks for any help!

Moderatorok there are other components that can cause no power
assume first off you have confirmed power to the machine both live and neutral
after that will need to see a pic of the board and cant find model on Beko tech. There is another number on the label normally beginning 7 that may help
or post clear pics of the board
Dave
just checked with another model there seems to be an error on the tech site at the moment

Participantelectrofix Thanks for the help Dave – much appreciated.
Haven’t been able to confirm power as i don’t have a multimeter. Have checked the socket and it works with other appliances etc.
Have attached pics of the board and the model number, hopefully Beko website back up and running anyway. Please let me know if you want any clearer pics of the board.
Thanks

ParticipantI ordered a new CB from ebay and that seems to have done the trick. It was £50 so not too bad. I assume it maybe was the resistor you highlight but this was the easier option. Thanks for the help.
