lol can’t believe I did that. Whereabouts exactly is the PCB located then?

Also anyone able to identify this connector type for me given it needs re-terminating?

but make sure you get the correct crimper and cut back to clean wire even if you have to extend it

    you will also need
    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/washer-dryer-thermal-cut-out

but get it working again first as this will only stop the dryer

    Hi Dave,

    Just an update.

I bottled out on testing of the board voltages as I felt it was out of my skill set.

We ordered a new Main PCB ( https://www.espares.co.uk/product/es1777863/washer-dryer-main-pcb ) from espares which arrived on Saturday (great service).

Fitted new PCB and (drum roll) NOTHING! Machine was still as dead as a dodo!

We were resigned to getting a new machine but I decided to take the top of the machine off (not sure why TBH!) and have a look at the front panel control board. I took the top loom connector off the PCB and then decided that a new machine was indeed the order of the day. I reattached the connector, plugged the machine back in and it powered up!!!

I swapped the ‘new’ PCB for the ‘old’ one and all worked fine!!!

I am frustrated as I cannot explain how I ‘mended it’!

Anyway ‘new’ PCB on way back for a refund and all sorted.

Many thanks for your kind help and patience Dave – I am very grateful

BTW – the new PCB has no D7 diode any more, they have obviously changed some of the design on this board? Please find attached a pic of the new PCB: –

My first post. Also had power problems with my washer dryer. Replaced Diode and all is well. Thanks to previous posters for info. Beko not interested when contacted them but this is a systemic issue so they should take ownership. Just wanted to add my voice to show it is a common problem and easy to fix. Either replace PCB (£55) or just the diode diode if you have the skills (£2)

I have seen pictures of the replacement boards and the diode is much bigger. so they know its a problem

Just want to say, thank you Dave! I found the forum by accident while searching for a solution to the problem, and when I saw that everyone was having the same problem, I knew I had to try even if it didn’t work. And, yeah … it worked! So once again, thanks Dave for the solution!

Big Thank you Dave. Same problem with my Beko washer/dryer. Changed the D7 diode. Feeling very chuffed with myself. Working perfectly.

    Hi,
Had same issue with WDR7543121 Washer / Dryer where it would not turn on.
Replaced the D7 diode and it came back to life but after returning it into position (moved a couple feet) it would then not re-energise, but did beep when power was turned on at the socket.
Thought other issues with the main board so replaced the full board and same thing happened, worked initially on first power up but then wouldn’t when returned back into place.
Is there anything i should check before giving up and getting a new machine?
    Thanks

    Morning Dave,

thanks for the response! I’ve checked all the plug connectors are secure and everything seems fine, removed and re-installed to make sure but still same issue with the beep and no display.
    Thanks
