Yeah one problem is that for privacy et all and as they’re encrypted, we don’t think passwords will migrate so everyone might need to reset them. 😕

A bit longer than planned but, upgrading will happen this weekend, starts on Friday night.

By early Saturday morning, it should all be done and if you wouldn’t mind reporting any errors soon as poss that’d be good.

I did say there’d be some pain and, as anticipated there has been.

It’s now on VB4 and will move to VB5 soon as that bring a bunch of stuff to the party like mobile friendly, social login and so on. That we’re hanging off till tomorrow for the moment but, it will alter cosmetically but not functionally as such.

What I need to know is, any issues with permissions because, as per usual, it’s wrecking my life given its complex.

So, anything you can find can you let me know please?

I still can’t send a PM so there are things that still need sorted but hopefully it’ll get there in the end.

Well as the paint dries things are getting easier. Still not worked out how to ban people assume its to do with infractions.

one thing that seems to have happened is any post with a picture now has 6. have done quite a few and will edit as I find them

Hey, it gets better…

Upgrade later to V5 so some stuff will alter, in look more than much else from the front end of it but, that gets it to the final (well, current) version so from there little change should occur for a long time I am hoping.

I am not able to edit ( no pencil appears) or delete a post, I sent an infraction a few minutes ago before Dave deleted a Viagra post.

I need to learn how to do that as well!

But once we sort out the step to V5 then we’ll have stop forum spam back which should reduce it significantly and make it a one click ban.

Also I found a tweak the will not allow new users to post a url without moderation first and that also will kill a lot.
