    New Motor dependant on model £185 – £250 😯

    😆 Try a Servis at ~£190 retail, we were told to repair it as it needed a module, motor and wiring harness.

    Total cost of spares, RRP…£297 excl VAT!!! 🙄

    Go figure.

    Indesit washing machine around £190

    Motor list price £101.16 inc VAT.
    Module list price £97.40 inc VAT

    Servis crap cooker fan element part number 524011900 back in June this was £75.97. Trade (ie the price I had to pay, so with a 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} mark up and a labour charge of say £40 that makes a total repair inc vat of £158.58! compare this to a gen smeg element which at the last count I was paying £** for.)
    I think Servis could win this battle hands down, when the retail price is taken into account.

    Okay, just got an absolute belter from Servis UK…

    524022100 fan oven element £83.45 excl VAT for a cheap electric cooker model number TE600I.

    That is just so bad it defies words!

    😯 how about a smeg microwave door glass. just ordinary black plasti and glass.

    checked with smeg in case decimal point was in the wrong place! £380.29 plus vat retail! 😳

    im sorry but i cant charge that for a part which im sure i could sell for appx 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of that.

    And now for the Good news ,The aforementioned Servis ckr fan element from GBDAR ,Servis uk etc- LOADSAMONEY.
    From Electrue Part no ELE 4207 NOTSOLOADSAMONEY (depending on your discount) ,Oh and by the way they also fit smeg who have just put there price upto £41.00 .

    Have just seen this one ,It reminded me of the time I had to Get Authority to fit one of these elements from AON ,It took me at least five mins to persuade the guy on the phone I was serious and that was the price!

    Please try to remember to post retail prices only in this thread as it is open to the public to view and some manufacturers and spares suppliers might not be best pleased to see trade prices banded about here.

    Which element is this daf? I just checked the Nov 03 smeg price list for all the common fan elements and the max, RETAIL is £29 +vat.
