I recently have opened a few washing machine doors with broken handles by cutting as large a rectangular piece as possible from a plastic milk carton, fold long ways and then double it over so you have about 4 ply/ layers. Then insert it in between door and front panel to push door pecker back. You might have to add a few more layers if the spring holding the pecker locked is stronger.

Or if anyone knows of a flexible strong plastic let me know.

    Good luck!!

Re: Wiring diagram for solid hot plate

Thanks Dave, I was thinking of following the wiring for one of the normal solid plates on the cooker. I used to have a diagram that showed the wiring for the 5 or 6 stages for the hot plate as you rotated the switch.
The cooker is. Belling farmhouse 900 with no data badge.
    Thanks for your reply

check the motor capacitor, if the ohms value is down any more than 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} then motor will stall under heavy loads and cause heater t/stats to blow, had a few dryers do this.

    Re: cooker hood question

Hi, possibly it is because all electrical parts are double insulated similar to a lot of small appliances like hair driers and TVs etc…..

Came across one of these, it was the door interlock that was faulty on the machine I looked at. Replaced door interlock and small PCB.

Try resetting the machine, the procedure is listed in this forum near the top, F05 is pressure switch stuck or blockage in sump hose or pump.

What do you mean by a linear pressure switch?
The one fitted to this machine is blue in colour and has 4 wires connected to it by edge connector.

    Hi Martin
Does a new pressure switch need to be reset as I’ve read in some posts?

Changed the Fridge electric baffle unit thats let the cold air in from the freezer, it was sticking in the open position so the temperature in the fridge was going to low and the freezer was over freezing due to the moisture getting in from the fridge side.
This seems to have sorted it.
